Bring on the Clone Saga! :D

I'm glad you're happy, but...you do realize that Joe Quesada uses his "now everyone loves the Clone Saga and wants Ben Reilly" analogy to justify literally every single bone headed editorial decision he has ever made in his EIC tenure when he is occasionally asked about it during interviews, right? Because to him, the idea that the Clone Saga, which even ten years ago was the most reviled Marvel story of all time now has hold out fans in tens of thousands, enough to warrant taking $12 from them is group-think moral putty that they use to grease every single half-arsed decision they make for the good of things.

"Who cares how terrible this is! In about 15 years everyone'll love it! Stay the course!"

I mean if I was a Ben Reilly fan, I would be more than irritated that I and my fringe Clone fans were thrown under the bus of logical fallacies for terrible story-lines and the editorial lectures that justify some of them.

I won't be touching this. To me, the Clone Saga was one of the first overly desperate editorial moves by the Spider-Office to get Spidey back to being a swinging single, no matter what kind of Grade A Buffalo feces it took to do so, but it wouldn't be the last. The covers are nice, though.

...but I liked the Clone Sage in the 90s. Loved it, in fact.

And I've actually really LIKED most of the decisions Joey Q has made, too.

So...yeah. lol

Joe Q's made some good decisions. The space area of Marvel is better than ever under his watch. Incredible Hercules. Marvel's still behind AGENTS OF ATLAS.

The problem is Joe Q's tenure is a tenure that feels it has to move so fast that acknowledging a mistake will trip it up. And that's not the best attitude to have.

The Clone Saga was, in my opinion, an amazing time period for Spider-Man, so I'm supporting the clone-related stuff, but that's as far as I'm going with Spidey. Once that's done then I'm done again.

Despite what people think, I think the Clone Saga was great and it's wonderful that Quesada's bringing it back. Well over due if you ask me. And I support things that I love.

I still hate single Spidey and I won't buy his stuff without a Clone Saga connection, so at least I'm still sticking to my partial guns.
