Omigosh! Is there any news on an American release date!?
I love digimon. Most people think thats weird because of my age, but, hell, I can't help it.t:

...I quit watching Digimon after Season 2. (which only got good after the Digimon Emperor was defeated) Season 3 officially turned me off with everything in S1 and S2 being fake.

Anything after S1 sucks to me.

Yeah I didn't like how they did that either, but season 4 was my favorite.
I saw the theme song to Digimon Savers a while ago with a friend and it looked ok.
I doubt I will watch it.

You didn't like Digimon Tamers?!! People keep saying they hate it because it means season 1 and 2 never happened. But if they actually gave the story a chance most I believe would love it as much as I did. Story wise, only season 1 outshines it. Its way better than season2, though IMO.

Oh no, dont think I didn't watch it. Back when S3 came on, Pokemon wasn't on during that time slot, so I had to watch it. It sucked balls.

Most of them because the original cast is non existant.

I'm still convinced that season 2 was the worse season. Well actually season 4.
Season 2 pissed me off at how pathetic they made the veteran digidestined look like ameteurs.

Agreed. That whole Jerri being taken over by that depression thing when Leomon died was such a good story. They just had really bad clothes in this one. Season 1 was good too. I hated 2 and 4.

Definitely the beset of monster shows. With pokemon being next and that other one that i can't even remember with a wolf and a golem. Loved the first season i grew up after that though .>( Love the concept of the show still

I think the other one that you are thinking about is Monster Rancher.
BTW:Have you ever seen Narutaru?

Its a pretty okay show. Like a rated M version of pokemon or digimon.

So, I just found out about this 5th series. I was a HUGE fan of the first 2 when I was younger, so I figured I'd check it out. I've been watching episodes on youtube and I must say, it's my favorite Digimon show so far. The animation has changed completely, and it feels a bit mature in comparison to the others. Still, the storylines are great, I'm up to episode 15 and I'm hooked. With luck it won't be butchered when it makes its way over here.

Love it.

Everything seems to be the same, except for Touma being Thomas, and Sunflowmon being Sunflowermon (also Miki + Megumi are referred to as the Miniskirt police). However, this can always be changed in the actual product.

I don't mind Thomas. After all, Touma was never very Japanese anyway.


I really wish this would continue. This has been the best series yet, and I want to see more.
