What makes you think that: (a) God (if such a being exists) would make a planet that has been constantly changing over the last 4 billion years to just let it stagnate because some puny hairless apes live on it now? (b) one species matters in the grand scheme of things, particularly if they can't adapt to the changing environment? (c) that humans would be unable to adapt to those changes?

Well....for Thanksgiving I et turkey and dressing, some greenbeans and potatoes......I et some pasta salad and et some chocolate pie for dessert....but I don't believe I et tu.

It took ice to tell you this, instead of every other thing going on that is so much worse.

The world's climate changes. Why people can't wrap their head around this is beyond me. Life on the planet will adapt or die. New species will come about and sometime or another they will face a climate change, and adapt or die.

That doesn't make any sense.

Also the ice around the Antarctic (which is what's REALLY relevant, because more of it rests over land) is GROWING, even if it is about the only region which is generally cooling...

And shipping companies have had a vested influence in accelerating global warming for years... there's big money to be had from it, so I fail to see how that part of the article is suddenly news either...
