I waiting for someone to explain to me why they cannot begin to rebuild the sand bars that were washed away by the 4 hurricanes since 2005 that have impacted the wetland areas of Louisiana?

WTF is wrong with this administration....

They say they have been in charge since the beginning? WELL GOOD DAMN JOB.... it has been a total screw up since the beginning and ONE STATE, is trying their hardest to DO SOMETHING, and the Federal government won't get the hell out of the way.

I don't hold Obama administration responsible for stopping the leaking pipes, since they are over 2 miles underwater and the federal government clearly doesn't have the experience to deal with such a crisis. However, for the oil that is flowing toward states like Louisiana, I think the Feds can do something about it, and if it escalates further I will hold Obama and his administration responsible then. If he really does screwed up, then he gets the blame to go with that failure.

Has any other country sent aid to help? Because it always seems that when there is a disaster in another country, the US helps. But when we have one, no other country gives a ****.
I haven't heard of any other country even attempting to help us out. F*** the rest of the world , especially our so called allies. Israel raiding and killing a bunch of aid workers is alot more important than a big ass oil spill to the rest of the world.:whatever:

I don't hold them responsible for that either....never said that.

How much more does it have to escalate? It's THERE......it takes time to build up those sand bars....they should have done a full out push to do that when Jindal first asked.....so I DO, hold the Obama Administration for that, and will continue to do so. IMO, is has escalated far beyond the need for the sand bars to protect the wetlands....

BP has officially started on the latest 'fix'...

I still support Obama, but I was disgusted during the 8 years of Bush regime where the country turned a blind eye to his obvious failures (like the invasion of Iraq, among others) until later in his second term. Obama doesn't deserve all the criticisms, and I know that he has been given a rather bad situation from the Bush administration, but I also think he has had some blunders, and if I see it I'd call him out to it.

Ummm....

Europe's economy is in the ****ter thanks to Greece

Canada is broke

Mexico's got it's own problems

South America is busy helping out Haiti and Chile

Asia is trying to fix the NK situation

Oh, and It's a GLOBAL recession.

And I'm pretty sure other countries have offred to help, but BP declined. Do some research before you start throwing ****

This is who I blame for all of America's problems. The entire able public is to blame for failures of its government. Americans continue to operating a pseudo-democracy, and the faux of civic control for the sake of maintaining the status quo, than this type of completely flawed government will continue to occur.

It looks like the latest 'fix' has also stalled. Apparently, a saw cutting one of the pipes got stuck.

I think all this is a good lesson for NOT figuring stuff out for the first time when you're battling a massive oil spill 5000 ft below sea level. :o

They never bothered testing any of this before drilling.

Despite America's economy being in the s****** we still help out the rest of the world. We give millions in military and economic aid to our "friend" Israel. We continue to give Haiti millions of dollars in aid aswell even though history shows that's like treating a gun shot wound with a bandaid. We've spent God knows how much money in Iraq and Afghanistan. We've done tons of s*** for the world and when we're in need of help the rest of the world just shrugs its shoulders. Like I said in my previous post , f*** the world and f*** our so called allies.

I don't really give a **** about what he says. Just work on fixing the damn thing.

EUNICE - Dignitaries gathered Wednesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a $3 billion uranium enrichment plant in southeastern New Mexico, the first major nuclear facility to be licensed in the United States in the past three decades.
The Louisiana Energy Services plant in Eunice, N.M., currently has more than 1,000 construction and contracting jobs. It is expected to have 308 full-time jobs.
Sen. Jeff Bingaman, D-N.M., calls the plant "a unique opportunity for New Mexico and our nation." He says the first phase of the plant will provide up to 25 percent of United States nuclear fuel needs, with plans to double its capacity to supply 50 percent.

I have to admit, this looks somewhat promising long as the backup and fail safes. =P

If Canada is broke why is it blowing 1 billion dollars on security for the G20?

:funny:

...and newest estimates have the oil spill at 46 million leaked.
