I highly doubt it. It's rare for prices to go down and the tariffs and deportation of builders will make it all worse.

The housing problem is not going to solve itself with NIMBY or NIMBY-adjacent politicians fighting the developers all the time no matter what political party they are from. Obviously they shouldn't compromise building safety and things like that but these other philosophical arguments are a barrier to progress that needs to happen because lower income housing in the U.S. and around the world is way way behind meeting past, present, and future population growth.
