Discuss differing views in politics and societal issues between each generation and how to bridge the gap.

I think some of it is they don't want to be bothered. Raising kids is a huge deal and a serious lifestyle change. If you want real freedom, don't have kids or pets.

I mean, it's a lot cheaper to raise a dog or a cat than it is to have a kid in this day and age, unfortunately. :(

On some issues not really that big of a differences, not what I would consider gap, and (just 36% of Gen Xers approving of Trump compared to 27% of Millennials (maybe enough of a gap in comparing them directly to Boomers 44%)), seems the generations have shifted/are shifting at steady rate, also interesting to see significant majorities of near all, except not quite half of the oldest, thinking immigrants strengthen the country though only overwhelming (79%) for the youngest.

It's not a particularly interesting subject given that the stereotype seems pretty true that the younger/youngest pretty consistently are more liberal and become less so as they grow older and see new younger/maybe too liberal generation(s) later.

Don't think the Boomer parents/grandparents were advocating/fighting much for them, rather than for themselves, or more specifically it was always controversial, every generations has both some if not a lot against and some if not a lot for most big changes (and so, for as much as they may complain about other generations, often also feeling pretty dissatisfied, angry with their own generation like the way that Begala complains that his Generation VOTED FOR REAGAN!!!1!, can't believe it, and that means the Generation was bad, went bad, the right side lost, and that they later voted for Clinton I guess bare minimum level of goodness/basic acceptability).

For me, this is the main reason:

"In a world with rising seas, advancing deserts, increasing global temperatures, increasing droughts, increasing extreme rain intensity and frequency, and increasing species extinctions, property rights will diminish. We can fight it or not, it is inevitable. Climate change and population growth are related issues."

I'd be feeling the same way. There's plenty people enough here already.

This never happened and if it did, it was mostly thanks to government assistance.
