disney animation myths

Lionkg2.jpg

I see SFX with **** trailing behind ALL of the letters.

So don't try to correct people when you don't know what you're talking about. :o
I know what I'm talking about, too bad you can't say the same.

hbond=Hunchback of Notre Dame
lol I don't know why I didn't get that. Hunchback is one of my fave Disney movies.

Basically because adults make cartoons. They're geared towards kids, but knowing how you are personally, wouldn't you just sneak in some in-jokes if you knew you wouldn't get fired?

Yep, but not if Walt Disney was still alive. He fired the guy who put the topless lady in The Rescuers on the spot when he admitted to it.

Also, there was this man who, on his first day on the job as an animator, joked about making a Disney porno. Didn't do anything, just joked. Eisner fired him.

Yep, I heard about that. How I miss the more innocent Disney days.

Yeah I don't believe most of the Disney rumors. People try too hard to see stuff that's not there because they want to think Disney is dirty. I mean, I will totally believe all the true ones. Jessica's flash, the Rescuers single frame of toplessness(it's literally a single frame, people exaggerate). But the **** about "Sex" in the stars - No, it's "SFX". All the other letters have sparkly things coming off them. The priest in Little Mermaid, it's his knee. He's an old old man, hunched over. It'd make sense it's his knee. But I believe it's a penis on the cover, since they admitted it. And it's ****ing "Go kitty".....What sense would it be if he said "Good teenagers take off you clothes"? That doesn't even make sense. In the context of the scene, it seems he would say "Go Kitty, take off and go", since that's whats ****ing happening in the scene.

It's just people wanting something to be there that isn't. What's funny though in this thread is seeing how these urban legends have been changed..."The Genie as a Bee?" What the hell??

animation works differently nowadays, though... back then, Disney would hire animators as permanent employees. Nowadays, animators are hired by contract for a specific job and then that's it. So by the time something hidden is found, that animator is long gone.

It's not the stars... have you even seen the movie?
I have. Granted I've seen the show more times so that may affect my judgement.(They focus more on the sky in the show) I should rewatch it though.

Yeah I know, I was just saying.

First or second post. Someone attributed the "Take off your clothes" line to the Genie.
Ah. I only knew about the stripping line, nothing with Genie being a bee. Must be sort of new.

does exmeraldas nipple show when she takes a hanky from her blouse?

LOL! We watched disney cartoons in Anthropology class today.
We said Peter Pan told kids to "follow the leader" and that Snow White taught little girls to "Whistle while they work". BWAHAHAHA!!!!

Have you ever seen the movie?

He would say it as a joke and who uses the phrase "take off and go?" And like I said before, its hard to confuse the word "kitty" with "teenager."

I thought the rumor said he said "all good kiddies take off your clothes" not teenagers.

...That's just it. Snopes has the actual sound clips, and they sound nothing like what snopes purports. Listen to the one for Donald under Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The one for Aladdin is also... speculative.

I hear the "why you" like they say Donald is actually saying, but I also hear the "n word" and not the "doggone little" like they claim.

Also, the Aladdin clip has two different voices in it if you notice. The "take off and go" sounds different than the "hey kitty" part. This could support the fact snopes has the newer dvd/vhs where the whole thing was changed.

this isnt an animation myth, but apparently the lion king rips off a kimba the white lion movie, like hardcore and almost scene by scene
