My roommate just popped some popcorn and anytime I smell popcorn I immediately think about crippling poverty. When I was broke back in the day usually the only thing in the house would be popcorn so that's what I would live on till the next check.

I have many friends that smell a particular alcohol and can't stand it because they got to wasted on it one night. I was always a good drunk and had no issues downing any booze in my immediate vicinity.

On a positive note, the smell of original Old Spice cologne always makes me think of my grandpa on my dad's side. We all called him Pops and that was his signature smell.

I don't partake anymore myself but I still love the smell of marijuana, fresh or while being smoked.

What smells evoke a memory or thought for you?

I have almost no sense of smell. Whenever I get a whiff of anything, even if it's unpleasant, I get excited.

The smell of weed remind me of the first time I smoked weed ;)

I think I could live without the sense of smell if I had to choose to lose one of the senses. Last thing I would choose would be my hearing.

In some ways, it's actually a considerable advantage to have very little sense of smell.

Hospitals have a very distinctive smell. It's like a mixture of chemicals and meatloaf.
