There are better reasons for stopping someone from ritualistically killing a housecat. Like, it's ****ed up, maybe? Most athiests would probably feel the same way.

Most, but not all and that is the difference between athiests and Christians. Quite a huge difference in my opinion.

While Christians follow a doctrine that guides them away from such immoral action, athiests are free to practice any belief and follow any action they desire, no matter how wrong or terrible it is.
