Obviously, a person with common sense will kill a brown recluse or a black widow at first sight.

Anything else lives.

BUT

There are scorpions in my area. It's cold where I live, so they are not deadly. Yet they can cause some problems to kids and the ederly, so I do kill those (The scorpions, not the kids and the ederly).

In hotter climates like Durango there are many of the killers ones. If you get sting you have to get a special serum derived from blood from specialy grown horses for that. They constantly poison the horses so that they constantly develop antivenom in their blood.
