Are you scared of spiders?

OK, odd poll I know. But this being Superhero Hype, a lot of us here are fans of Spider-Man. But are you fans of spiders? I say this because last night I was greeted by a massive spider on the wall while retiring to bed. Well, at least it looked huge to me

Personally, I can't stand them. I can't sleep knowing there's one in my room unless I'm able to kill it, and then my skin still crawls thinking about it. I'm glad I don't live in Australia or anywhere where they have huge spiders.

Spiders are cute. I love watching them run around the wall for about an hour before finally getting bored, then I scoop them up into my hand and put them outside.

I loathe and hate them. I have a huge phobia of spiders. I once discovered a semi-big spider, staring at me on my window and I moved every single thing in my room away from it and stood on my couch until my mom got back, so that she could squash it.

They only fuel my paranoia about everyday life and that's not a good thing. I don't care which are poisonous and which aren't. They're all the same to me.

We know that most spiders kill people. So, being afraid of them is common sense and squashing them to death is even more common.

Before saying "Why don't you just take them outside then? Why kill them?", that's b/c they always find a way to come back. Once, I took one huge spider outside the house and then on the next day, I found one exactly the same size and colour in my bathroom. I don't trust spiders.

So, whenever I see one, should I ask it for a time-out and go Google it to see if it's either poisonous or not? No.

I don't have to let them live, let alone adore and love them.

Even though if they're not poisonous, I would just squash them, anyway. Except tiny spiders.

I am terrified of them. I have always had them as a phobia. I have gotten better over the years; I can deal with smaller ones. I had to get over it a little when I moved into my own place and during rain seasons they'd come in and I'd have to get rid of them.

There was one time with one the size of my hand got in, and at 3AM I got quite feral adopting a "It's either him or me" attitude. I spent 45 minutes hunting it with a curtain rod while leaping from furniture. Even still, as I have got a little better than my youth, I still have reccurring nightmares about spiders which unsettle me (To say nothing of the rest of the household)!......
