Do you care about the news related threads?

Well, shut my mouth. I think some of the news threads that are posted regarding weird news do get more commentary because well...it is the Hype. If it's something about taxes or something along those lines, it may not get as much attention because about half the Hype is made up of kids. I'm currently straddling that line between wanting to hear news about the Florida woman that gave birth to the gator and worrying about how next election is going to affect my upper middle class tax bracket.

I personally don't believe people should post news here. Some of the stuff that gets posted is highly unsuitable for younger readers. I voted for "If I wanted the news, I'd use the rest of the 'net to find it".

yep. i'll take those over threads about shallow issues like who the hottest celebrity is any day of the week.

Most of the normal threads are unsuitable for younger readers, what's your point?

My point is, swearing isn't allowed here, porn isn't allowed here, I don't think the hottest celeb ones are a good idea either, people shouldn't be posting stuff about rape and murder, IMO.
