A Blu ray player by the time TDK is out on blu ray? (if you don't have one yet)

I don't own one yet, but I definitely will by then. It's definitely a movie worth purchasing one for. :woot:

meh, I might add one to my computer anyway if the disc-drives get cheap enough

Do be honest I dont even use my DVD player. I will occasionally but I usually I just watch stuff on demand or rent. So I probably wont get a blu ray player any time soon

I most definitely plan on having a Blu-ray player by the time The Dark Knight is released on Blu-ray/DVD.

Im just gonna get in on DVD, 2 disc special limited edition, of course. :D

I have a Blu-Ray player :D

I also have a blu-ray player, in the form of the ps3. I would imagine most other people have a ps3 instead of a dedicated blu-ray player.

I have a PS3 just for the blu-ray and the once in a blue moon chance a good game comes out for PS3 that isn't on Xbox 360, Like Metal Gear 4. But I will be buying TDK the day it comes out!!

I won't buy a Blu-ray player until it makes DVDs completely obsolete, which isn't likely for the near future.

Sure don't plan on it. I'm pretty content with my dvd player.

If you are going to buy a blu-ray player, buy a PS3. Its the cheapest one and you can buy Metal Gear Solid and other PS3 exclusives!

yep youre right, in fact my plan was to get a PS3 , IF IF IF and only IF a game for the dark knight would come out, so yea there goes that :(

I plan on still being poor by the time The Dark Knight comes to dvd/blu-ray formate. So I don't think I'll be getting a BluRay anytime soon. Thank You American Econemy.

I recently got a PS3 from Wal-Mart and they gave me a $100 gift card (which I used on groceries). It was over Father's Day weekend.

yeah thats what i have, apparently, right now, the ps3 is the best blu ray player on the market, since you get free updates straight from sony. and for people who dont have bluray.....you have no idea what you're missing...i was skeptical for the longest time, but once i watched my first bluray (assassination of jesse james)...oh man....there's no going back.

Already have a PS3 + BB Blu-Ray, np

2009, if all goes to plan. there was this huge article about it on some website, i cant remember which one, but companies want DVDs gone the way of VHS by the end of 09.

If dvds become the new Vhs then Blu-ray needs to lower the prices. Im not going to pay for 30$ for movies that dont even look amazing in blu-ray.

But I have a ps3 so I am good. Cant wait for Batman Begins blu-ray

The only bad thing about the PS3 is the energy consumption. Apparently running a Blu-ray on it uses well over 100 watts of power whereas running a Blu-ray on a regular Blu-ray player only uses like 25. My energy bill was $147 last month. For a single person in a one bedroom apartment, that is a ****load and I suspect a lot of it has to do with my HDTV and PS3.
