Iron Man 2 Do you think that they will show at least 1 avenger?

Yeah, I know. Okay, serious now. Aside from Iron Man, War Machine and Black Widow, I think we might see Thor, since he's the first one in line to get a movie. I'm hoping for a Hulk or Bruce Banner cameo, but I doubt it... And I'm pretty much sure there there will be plenty of Captain America talk with Tony digging into the past.

I don't think that they will show Thor or anything because of the release date unless it is entirely after the credits scene... I don't think casting of Thor and the filming of IM2 coincided enough to provide enough space to write Thor into the script.

However, what would be cool was an after the credits scene, where Fury takes Stark up to an "Avengers Locker Room" and we see memorabilia from each of the members... Like Cap's Shield hanging somewhere... Bows and Arrows from Hawkeye... Super amazing cage of the future to hold Hulk... Thor's hammer...

You know what would be awesome... Remember that last scene in Cloverfield when you "see" the monster fall into the ocean. It would be cool to have something like that with Thor's hammer...

I wouldn't want Thor to show up in this movie. Don't get me wrong, I want to see Thor, but the first time I see him in the big screen I want to see some epic unveiling of him in his own film.

I want a Hulk cameo. We've heard from Norton that "he's never heard of it", as a cameo for Bruce, so a Hulk cameo wouldn't be bad and actually make it known that Iron Man AND Iron Man 2 are both set before The Incredible Hulk, with Fury showing stock footage of the Hulk and then Tony agreeing to helping the military track Hulk down and to find General Ross.

I can forsee only cameos for films that have actually been casted.
So Hulk and Thor are possibilities. But anything with the other avengers is very unlikely. To make this work, Marvel would have to hire actors for these roles and contract them for a movie that could be 3+ years away. Also whoever they get to direct will want to pick their own cast.
