I have both but I also like to keep them seperate. My Facebook is personal and select, whereas my Twitter is, by definition, very public and it's out of my hands who follows me. I know I can make it private, etc, but that defeats the point of why I use it.

Exactly. For Twitter, I mainly used it to follow my favorite sports team news feed, rock bands that I like, and some celebrities. Therefore, I'd like to keep my identity more or less a secret because that way, I can post what I want but still stay in cognito. For FB, it's used for my friends & family, so I use my real name. That's why these two accounts are separate.
