considering how close comics and cartoons are, I don't really get the relevance of the thread

Other than watching reruns, the only new/current cartoons I watch is The Boondocks or the occasional Family Guy. I'll be checking out The Clone Wars, but that's about it.

Has any one seen spectal spider- man? its newest spider-man cartoon. it come on cw every saturday at 9:30am to 10:30, one is repeat. I liked it better then the 1990's cartoon.

I so loved cartoons, but I believe cartoon network and the likes killed cartoons. The saying is so true to much of a good thing is never good (however it goes). I remember Saturday morning cartoons and after school cartoons until about 5pm, that was it. On holidays we had our prime time cartoons, but they were so rare, it was an actual event a treat in fact. I still love them, but don't watch so much anymore. I miss my Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry and Woody Woodpecker.
