I watch South Park and King of the Hill but as far as like actual kid-oriented shows I would still watch the old TMNT, Thundercats, and Ghostbusters. Anyone ever hear of The Nostalgia Critic? My roommate got me watching some of his stuff and its hilarious he like does these comedic reviews of kids movies and cartoons from the 80s and 90s. Theres a Nostalgia Chick to and shes damn hot plus she gets extra points for being into fat dudes

something like that. i need to pick that up. and to answer the thread: most of what i watch is cartoonsas far as regular series go. cartoons account for 90% of my comedy intake as i'm not a fan of most comedy movies.

I used to watch TMNT until just before it turned into the future series. I watch the new Transformers series....I tend to watch more anime now. (I don't consider anime cartoons)

Animation is a medium. Just because something is animated doesn't mean its for kids and grownups should stop watching.

Anyway, I watch a hell of a lot of cartoons and a good 40% of my dvd collection is animated.

i actually think animation is the perfect medium for superhero stuff.

a great showcase of powers and fights while allowing characterisation to flow via high quality voice acting.

it's miles better than the film format and arguably better than the comic format as well.

4sho, IDK somwhere in the '90's the form just didn't cater to little boys who like to play rough no more. I'm glad I came up w/ Transformers G1 and Yo Joe!

I blame the Japanese-so much of our U.S. shows over the years has been imports. I blame parents groups, they axed our animated guns pretty early, and gave us animation about school..WTF?!??

South Park
Wolverine and the X-men
Robot Chicken
Boondocks(if it ever comes back)
Spectacular Spider-man

I also watch Simpsons and Star Wars: Clone Wars. Simpsons is purely out of habit and Clone Wars I watch out of some ridiculous need to see every Star Wars movie, show, etc. The completist in me has to see it.

That being said, 90 percent of the toons on the air are just child aimed drivel.
If we were talking about all time faves though, my list would be MUCH longer(X-men, Batman, Animaniacs, Transformers, etc. I could go on all day. 80's and 90's ruled!)

I actually watch Chowder and Flapjack, my friends completely hate Flapjack but think Chowder is cool.
