Does anyone play Everquest 2? Is it good? Is it easy?

Is Everquest 2 good? Is there a good storyline, lots of are to explore, easy to solo?
I'm interested in this one, don't like WoW. I have some questions.

Everquest 1 was neat because it was so huge, are there are a lot of areas to explore? Places that make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere?

Is there a good storyline? I don't want to play a game that's just about leveling up.. that's just annoying.

Can you solo? can you play this like a single player adventure easily or is it mindnumbing hard because you have to level up and that takes forever?

I like to party for somethings, and I like other players to interact with.. but I'd like a game that isn't so party/group necessary

I wish I could help, dude. I've not bothered with it. But I have played WoW, FFXI, and some GW.

1. If your thread is so great, why not give a link, so that it can be merged?
2. Never call a site admin "noob". It'd be nothing for me to change your name to "Mary Jane's Lookalike" and change your profile to make you seem like an attractive 18 year old female, just so you can get PMs from all the horny guys here.
