GOW is the Best looking game right now that's out... Maybe until Mass Effect... Mass Effect is gonna Take over look the BEST!!!

Mass Effect's characters look SO Life-Like, the trailer looked to me like a Movie Trailer, Unlike Halo 3!

None of those options provides enough variety of an answer. Its not absolutely jaw dropping incredible, but its better than most other games out there. So no vote for me. And if GOW isn't the best looking game out right now on consoles, what the **** is?

Does Halo 3 smash the bar that "Gears of War" has set? No. But I would certainly say it meets it.
Halo 3 is an amazing looking game. You have to take into consideration that Halo 3 has more onscreen characters,
vehicles, (A.I. driven) much larger environments with more poly-demanding objects (trees and other flora) not
to mention that the levels have to be viewable from many angles (more objects need to be fully modeled and
all show on-screen simultaneously. Does Master Chief's character model look better than Marcus Fenixes?
Maybe not, but from what I've seen, Halo 3 has better textures than Gears of War, and judging by the Arbiter
and the marines in the last pic, the character models are more than adequate whether the Chief is the best
looking one or not.

Having played the Halo 3 Beta online, I wasn't too impressed.

It just seemed a lot like Halo 2, with some more guns. Hopefully, the hype will rise immensely when it hits store shelves.

Isn't that what a sequel's supposed to be? The same style of play but with more features and better levels?

Ah man, I just have to totally disagree. As someone who has played Halo 2 a ****load of times and then jumped into the beta, I have to say the difference is almost as huge as going from Halo 1 to Halo 2. The models may look similar, but there is a huge amount of polish and detail that you wouldn't have seen in the previous game.

Gears of War doesn't have environments like Halo, nor does it have the insanity of what goes on in a Halo battle. Gears of War is an intense game, but Halo has a lot more going on at any moment than Gears does.

So far, all the videos and screens of Halo 3 have been of the multiplayer aspect, and the game does not look much like a next gen game. It looks like spiffed up Halo 2 graphics. There is nothing wrong with us 'idiots'. The game looks like crap compared to other games coming out; Heavenly Sword, Bio Shock, Mass Effect.
