Dogs rips up car w/pics

Oh jeez. That's some serious damage just from dogs.

That's why you don't cheat on your dog by petting a cat.

Man, I want to own those dogs. Reminds me of what Cujo did.

Wow, if that was my car...I would not rest until I killed every last one of those dogs.

Why blame the dogs? they are just doing what is natural to them. Blame the irresponsible owners letting animals capable of this run loose.

What if instead of a car/cat it was a child they were after? I have neighbors like these and I just want to smack them for doing this.

The owners do deserve blame for if those dogs had been chained up, this incident wouldn't have happened. However, the dogs need to be put down. Clearly, they are mentally unstable. They tore apart a car.....a car.....trying to get a bite out of that cat. If that cat had been on the dogs' owners property, then they were merely doing their duty as protectors to what they perceived as a threat. However, that car belonged to a neighbor. In that case, the dogs are dangerous animals. Who's to say if there was a little kid walking down the street (only God would know why, but just to prove a point), those dogs wouldn't have attacked him/her seeing that they destroyed a car trying to reach some mangy cat.

All rottweilers would not have done this, so it's not natural. There is a great responsibility for owners who have dogs of this capacity (compared to say...a Yorkshire terrier). The owners are responsible for paying for the damage. The dogs need to be put down because they don't get a free pass. I'm not demonizing the dogs. I'm just calling it how I see it.

Agreed. Which is what makes this a tragedy and pisses me off even more. The owners are irresponsible and the ones they were supposed to be responsible for will pay for their mistakes :cmad:

If you own a dog and that ****er barks and growls at EVERY person that's not you, something is wrong. I have seen dudes that own dogs that are aggressive as hell towards people they shouldn't be, and they just laugh it off and don't even attempt to discipline them.

This part made me laugh, because my mom owns a yorkie who is terribly aggressive towards dogs that are bigger than him. He was raised in a house with bigger dogs, and had to overcompensate to just get his fair share.

A lot of people think it's funny. I don't. I have seen this dog launch himself at another dog 3 times his size, and he isn't playing. He's trying to cause the larger dog harm. Fortunately he didn't hurt the other dog, and that's the last time I try to walk him without a lead. If he had hurt the other dog, it would have been my fault.

My thoughts are if any dog is as aggressive and my mom's is, or the ones that are strong enough to do the damage in the pictures, it is the responsibility of the owner to compensate for any damages incurred.

I bet the dogs took off once the tire exploded.
