Two Dooms....and Cellestials?

Actually someone like Doom would go after the Infinity Gems.

Interesting.

I was more thrilled by him apparently taking thor's hammer

With all the crap that is already happening in the MU, I doubt they could handle this situation.... Probably a What If... =(

Hope so cause if it's not the heroes are screwed:D

One Doom -the Doom in the reflection on the gauntlet, is Doom during Secret Wars when he battled (and beat) the Beyonder.

Only temporarily.....The beyonder won at the end of the day

Doom w/ Infinity Gauntlet

vs.

Doom w/ Beyonder's powers & lots of Celestials

yay

I thought they were not allowed to work together anymore?

What project is this pic from?

Frankly, Dr. Doom NEEDS a go with the Infinity Gauntlet to make up for his suckitude lately. Defeated by Sentry, the world's sissiest superhero, and then kidnapped from prison like he was Mr. Freeze or something (B:TAS reference).

Considering that to many, Dr. Doom is the ultimate Marvel villain (to the point where even a video game had the brains to make him leader of the Masters of Evil, circa MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE), it's about time he did something that fit that rep, rather than just sporadically fight the Fantastic Four or job to mentally ill superheroes.

Agreed Doom is the creme of the crop when it comes to villians in the MU. I'd rank him 3rd in overall badassery behind Thanos and Kang. I just don't like how Marvel has been treating him lately. Anything to get this guy back on top is ok in my book.

Doom plus gauntlet results in a perfect world.

I hope this is real, and he remakes the world in his image.

I like Doom a lot more than Thanos and Kang. :o

That's the mystery.

As noted in the DARK REIGN topic by TheCorpulent1, a while back we got an image of a "Dark" Illuminati that had several figures in it including Emma Frost and Dr. Doom. His theory was that this group either saves the world from the Skrulls and gets rep, or otherwise shows up and are involved in REIGN. The Illuminati were guarding the Infinity Gems and one of them, Black Bolt, was a Skrull for a while. Mr. Fantastic was Captured. Namor abandoned the surface world for the seas. Xavier was critically injured by Bishop. The gems may be "back in play" as it were.

It's Corp's theory, mostly, but it fits trends.

Doom is my favorite villian of all time but I was saying he was 3rd overall in deeds, badassary, and power.
I'm hoping the villians aren't turned into heroes. Its bad enough you have Bullseyes and Venom in Thunderbolts and Spiderman, Moon Knight and Daredevil as wanted villians........Marvel is gettng to dark and grimy and its started to become a turn off.

What's bad about Venom and Bullseye in Thunderbolts? That book is excellent.

Do you even read it? because the two are HARDLY heroes...

I don't know, I think it's kind of exciting.

I hate to rag on DC, but with most of the big DC books, I know not to expect anything really new. Final Crisis, RIP, New Krypton, Blackest Night, etc. are all big stories but I don't really see anything of consequence coming out of them, especially given Johns and DiDio's obsession with reversing everything back to the Silver Age. So in that sense, DC is a bit predictable for me. For good or bad, I can't say the same about Marvel.

I would burn down the baxter building and bring 5 smoldering skulls to doom if he would let me live in Latveria.

Agreed.

I can usually predict that anything Marvel does will be tearing down, destroying, and bleak. I usually am right.

Don't get me wrong; Marvel is heads and tails better than DC now. But it comes with it's own formula.

What's the next event? MARVEL: RITUAL SUICIDE? :whatever:
