I don't understand why they don't just do a Green Arrow movie.
DC's multiverse is just one glaring example of the laziness of that company. Hey, why stop at 5 heroes named Flash when you can say there are 100 Earths all with their own Flash characters! That way, we never have to create anyone new...just slap that logo on a new character and it's an instant connection!
That's why when other companies were creating now iconic characters like Deadpool, Cable, Spawn, Witchblade, Hellboy etc etc DC was just slapping their familiar logos on new people. It's no wonder the company is seen as old fashioned.
A company that doesn't care if their stories make sense next to each other is not a company I'm willing to support. At the moment, I do not watch any DC tv shows, because for me, the movies are the "official" versions. But if we can't even expect the movies to be "official" because some new version could pop up at any time or the stories we pay to see next year may be completely eliminated by the film that follows, then to heck with it. There are so many superhero movies out per year that I can easily skip DC's and still get my fill. I certainly haven't felt like I've been cheated out of entertainment in 2014.
Does this mean we can finally get a third Batman film directed by Tim Burton with Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman?
