just a few days ago i was playing Super Double Dragon on the SNES and was thinking how cool it'd be be to have a new DD game

Hmm... I wouldn't mind seeing a resurgence of the beat 'em genre. New Final Fight, new Streets of Rage...could be cool!

I would love to see another Double Dragon, is it safe to say that they may re-imagine the whole story? As for Final Fight, I wasn't particularly fond of Streetwise, it just didn't hold my attention long, Sega got real snooty with a development team a while back when they remade Streets of Rage with sharper graphics and remixed music, instead of just hiring them and releasing the game to the marketplace or PSN. Back to Double Dragon though, a couple of years ago, there was a Double Dragon game that got released and then cancelled before it hit stateside, the characters looked completely different, and judging from the reaction from fans, it wasn't really that great of a game.
