Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

That was an epic trailor....dude got killed in front of all them people...this wil be the best Saw movie.
 
Man, I literally gasped when I saw Dr. Gordon crawling. That was just an amazing thing to see and to see him return on the big screen again just makes it even more exciting.

What's even better is Cary Elwes hasn't aged much at all. So time was definitely on his side.
 
This trailer was great. I'm looking forward to it alot and shall see it on opening day. :woot:
 
The cheesy bits with the audience aside, cool trailer, and this movie is already a day one admission for me.

people know its 3d... is it really necesary to break the third wall with those ridiculously cheesy scenes in the trailers??

now the final film looks like a complete joke and gimmick... like some my bloody valentine/ final destination movie

aside from that i cant wait.. Saw 6 was my favoriteid love to see them top it.
 
I'm so excited for Saw VII and I really hope that if the movie does well, they go against their word and make another one, because next Halloween definitely won't be the same without a Saw movie.
 
Even though I like the saw movies they started to become stale. Saw 6 was the best one besides the first movie in my opinon. Though I did like Saw 2. I hope that this is the last one and I hope it is an Awesome ending to the franchise!
 
I think Saw IV is the only one that I really have problems with. It had such a good lead-in, with the way that Saw III ended, but the Jeff story was knocked down to just him getting shot by Peter. The movie definitely did some things right, but I think that most of it is really just contrived and there's just so much stuff that could've been handled better - I mean, Perez and Strahm being introduced was the shakiest premise, and made it seem like Kerry was so paranoid that she needed to email other agents and officers with her intel, just in case she doesn't make it out alive.

The fifth one had its problems too, but I consider it to be a much more enjoyable film than the fourth, even despite the ending leaving such a bad taste in my mouth. And the sixth one definitely raised the bar for the franchise yet again, though it's a shame that it did so poorly, because I really had high hopes for the franchise at this point.

Yeah i'm with you 100% on all of that. Hopefully Saw VI's popularity will carry onto Saw VII, especially since it has the same director.
 
I really enjoy these movies, i dont believe this is the last one though, no matter how much they say it.

I love though how they make out in the marketing that since the original saw there was a story they had planned throughout the whole series when its pretty clear they are making it up as they go along.
 
I loved the 4th although I agree with the bit about Perez and Straham being introduced, I feel the overall storyling of 5 sucked balls, couldnt care about the 5 people or any of the traps and after Straham dies and you realize he isnt going to be the hero of the series its like who gives a ****

WTF are u talking about? Its ur opinion I guess,though get used to seeing all these movies/trailers in 3D.. I thought the trailer was pretty darn good and Im glad they are shooting it in 3D than converting it. As,to me most films that shoot in 2D then convert it to 3D are terrible.

If you look at the main SHH page, you have proof that a horror movie that says "this is the last one, we're done" can and will go against their word if there's still money to be had. Scream 3 was supposed to be the end, but many years later we get Scream 4, along with another trilogy planned. I think the same could be said for Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, and Chuckie, because I'm sure each and every one of those movies was in production under the assumption that it would be the finale - only to have to retcon the main character's death in the next sequel.

See, I think Saw V is redeemable only because it kind of went against the normal formula of a Saw movie, with the traps coming second to the overall plot. It's like Saw II in that respect, where both Strahm and Matthews are racing against the clock to put all the clues together, while the test subjects and their stories are kind of like filler until the entire story comes together. That movie would've been so much better if Strahm didn't fall into his trap - if he had realized from the start that Hoffman was trying to bait him into a confrontation, only to have his own self-assurance lead to his demise, then I would've been fine with him dying.

The fact that he so blindly followed the clues that all pointed to him getting framed for everything pissed me off, because his obsession was not only something we already saw in Matthews, Kerry, and Rigg, but it's something he should've known would lead to his demise. He went through all of those files about the Jigsaw case and it didn't once hit him that he should listen to the recording? Jigsaw's whole M.O. is making people take their lives into their own hands by testing their will to live and to follow his rules, so Strahm should've seen that as an opportunity to survive.

Yeah, these types of commercials are nothing new - My Bloody Valentine 3D had the same exact format, with the audience dodging a flying pick-axe, and the killer popping right out of the screen to flash his helmet-light onto them. Like I said, it's nothing new, and I highly doubt Saw will be the last film to use that gimmick. Especially when it comes to horror movies, it pays to use the 3D angle to make people think they'll be scared twice as bad as they'd normally be.

Have you all seen the videos of proof that Dr. Gordon has been either Jiggs all along, or has at least been working with him since the beginning? It is compelling evidence. & I must say if they do it right this could one of the best horror series ever as far as tying up a story.

I am sorry I didn't mean to not post a link here are some of the videos. Very compelling evidence IMO. I honestly did not think that the Saw series was this well thought if it does turn out to be the case then, wow.

I always felt that maybe Gordon was in on it in some way. Just because Carey Elwes can play a really good villian if he wants to I really liked him in Kiss The Girls. So if all this turns out to be true that will be pretty cool.

If they have been leaving clues and can tie-in the entire series together at the revelation of SAW 7 it will blow the audience away.
