Watching Saw 2 makes me feel even more sorry for Detective Matthews.

One of the main things I do not like about the Saw franchise is the killing off of interesting characters. Strahm and Matthews definitely should've survived their games.

I was definitely pulling for Matthews , he was a popular character , people even cheered in my theatre when they dragged him out for Saw 4.

I've been waiting for someone to come along that outsmarts the killer but Jigsaw will always come out on top.

Yeah that's the character you play as. I don't know how cannon the games are though. I'm surprised that's it actually a pretty fun game, though combat is a *****.

I still can't figure out what was Adams purpose in the game?

His purpose was to stay alive, but he fu**ed up.

He needed to be shown mercy by Dr. Gordon whose game was to kill Adam, but Adam also needed the key to get out. And I'm sure Jigsaw would've considered letting him go if Adam didn't try to kill him!

In a flashback in Saw III, it's shown that Amanda re-opens the bathroom just prior to the events of Saw II, and she suffocates Adam to death with a plastic bag.

I'm starting to think that Dr. Gordon might be the ultimate red herring. Everyone has been speculating that he's Jigsaw's secret apprentice ever since Saw 2. It would be hillarious if his role is a glorified cameo designed to throw people off during the marketing and that's it.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. However, it's been confirmed by Cary and Lionsgate that he filmed new scenes and none of them are flashbacks or archived footage.

Part of me believes that they wouldn't have him be a glorified cameo 7 films into the franchise. But it wouldn't surprise me if this was all just a swerve.

I'd be disappointed to honestly. Although a big part of me believes that they won't go that route and from what I understand early reviews(at least from those who claim to have seen it) say we won't be disappointed.

Here's hoping that the theatre I am employed at gets a 2D version. I have no interest to see Saw in 3D. Hell, even some people at my job thought it was the first Saw film in 3D.

Overall, its actually pretty decent and I thought the fact you get to play as Detective David Tapp (Danny Glover's character from the original SAW) was pretty awesome. Whether you want to accept the game as "canon", is up to you though.

I don't think they'll do that. Tobin Bell is identified as being Jigsaw and it would be pointless to have him be revealed as an "apprentice". Either Gordon is an unwilling accomplice or has been with him from the beginning.

One things for sure, we definitely don't know how this is going to end and we don't know what the twist will be either.

I reckon at the end of Saw, we find out that Jigsaw is not just John but Gordon also. That they were both bery much working together.

To make a Jigsaw you need more than one piece, this way, they'll be at least 2 'Jigsaw pieces'.

I just finished my Saw marathon last night. As of right now, I am completely caught up in terms of the storyline, characters, and etc. What disappoints me still is how they killed off Eric, Jeff, and Strahm. It would've been nice to see Strahm enter the makeshift hospital room where Jigsaw, Amanda, Jeff, and Lynn were.

It just would've been interesting to see him either team up with Eric to stop Jigsaw or to help Jeff find his daughter.

Of course nothing can be done about it now, however, it was stupid of them to kill off three of your most interesting characters. Strahm was the ultimate badass and when they killed him off I was very, very upset.

My guess is Hoffman either sets her up or she turns herself in willingly for what she did to Hoffman. I don't know though. Didn't Jigsaw say he would have a way out for her?
