Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

This isn't a spoiler, but I have to say the only way this series can end with this is that Hoffman must die this time. Otherwise, it'll just continue from there. Who's with me on this?

If this is honestly going to come to a close, either most everyone has to die, or Jigsaw must truly have an endgame that included the killings to stop at some point.

Yeah this is definitely the last one, I'm sick of hearing people say oh there'll be another one or something like that. This is the definite last one. Anyways, I just watched 4, 5, and 6 for the first time over the weekend. I do not understand the hatred for 4 and 5. They are pretty good movies because they offer a lot of backstory which is incredibly rare now a days and the traps are pretty awesome especially the Strahm drowning one. I'll agree they're lower tier when it comes to the Saw movies but I don't think they deserve all the hate that they get. Saying that number 6 is easily one of the best.

Then the only rational thing I see happening is Jigsaw's plan coming to a complete close meaning he knew ALL of this was going to play out and he planned on his work ending eventually. No more apprentices...no more Jigsaw...just leave behind his legacy and be done with it.

all the posts on the survivors blog spot come from the movies right? the one from Sidney is that from saw 7? you see in the trailer two people holding on to something and one falls. anyone else notice this or have an idea?

Maybe Jigsaw will get a group of followers........kind of like Batman in TDK. :woot:

Wow, really? That really kind of sucks and makes me want to stop playing the first game haha.

Its one of two endings. In the other one,
Sing's wife, Melissa, turns out to be the Zepp of the game and winds up dying like her husband with shotguns blasting her. Tapp goes insane after seeing her get killed and winds up as a patient in a real asylum.

My idea for how this series would end: would be that Hoffman dies a horrible death...Jill survives..9 months later, she has a baby boy and names him John...further, the father is none other than Dr. Gordon.

:whatever:

One things for sure I believe this thread will be alive with a lot of posts come this Friday. Going to be exciting I can't wait.

Is that supposed to be a happy ending?

i guess no one has read the survivors blog spot?

Best to worst IMO:

1.) SAW II - More characters, the best main character in Eric Matthews, better traps, and multiple twists!

2.) SAW VI - Almost the perfect SAW film by taking it back to basics with a great main character in William Easton and a solid story to go with him. The ending had me on the edge of my seat!

3.) SAW V - People love to hate this one, but I thought it was SAW II, but better as the trap victims were more developed in this, a good protagonist in Peter Strahm whose better in this film than he was in the previous one, and of course an unbelievable ending! (although I prefer II over V because Matthews > Strahm and the multiple twists were handled better.)

4.) SAW I - Simplistic film with a classic ending!

5.) SAW III - Jeff was the worst protagonist and some of the traps were way too gory.

6.) SAW IV - Better hero in Rigg, but I hated that the whole movie turned out to be
one big flashback
plus it has the worst traps of the series.

Best to worst IMO:

Saw 2 This one is the most enjoyable for me , Det Matthews was a great protagonist for Jigsaw to play against.

Saw 1 Loved the main killer having a shroud of mystery and one of the best twists ever. The moment he got up I said to myself "this is the new ,"face of horror"

Saw 3 I didn't really like the Jeff character but Tobin and Shawnee were amazing.

Saw 6 Had one of the better plots , imo

Saw 4 The ending felt kind of abrupt but jon and his wife's backstory was nicely done.

Saw 5 I still really enjoy this and put it at the same as five. At the end of 4 , I was thinking to myself "why hoffman?" but they turned into something feasible.

I only seen the first 4 so far...

Saw II I like Eric, agree with you all.
Saw III Like Jeff's story, but I honesty feel the R-rated cut is NC-17. Too gory, but good story.
Saw - Good story, kept me on edge of my seat.
Saw 4 -This one is barely watchable. I felt it just pissed all over Jeff's story in part 3.

Switch six with three and then move four up and you have my list:

Saw 2
Saw
Saw 6
Saw 4
Saw 3
Saw 5

Jeff was just way too unlikable and disconnected from the rest of the series..

There is no way that this can be the last Saw movie.
Dr.Gordon is left to carry on Jigsaw's work,
and if I am wrong then it would be really dumb to stop at 7.

I would rank the Saw movies like this:

Saw
Saw III
Saw II
Saw IV
Saw V

As for Saw VI,I don't know what I would rank it at since I haven't seen the whole movie yet.

I think the guy who played Jeff did bad acting. His acting came off as really corny.

Anyone going to the midnight showings tonight? Anyone know what the limited edition 3D glasses look like?

Please please...PLEASE don't spoil anything after tonight guys lol. I am hearing the ending is...unbelievable but, I don't know what to believe.

You can easily avoid spoilers but let's say....not logging to these forums until you've seen the movie perhaps?

Well ign just posted a review. Here's the link http://movies.ign.com/articles/113/1131014p1.html

They gave it 2 out of 5 stars. They say jigsaw and Dr. Gordon have very little screentime. They say the two characters apperances are more like cameos :(. They claim that it's not horrible but it re hashes things from past movies. Saying that it's not as strong as Saw 6. They also say that the ending has a loophole to allow yet another film. My anticipation for this went down a little bit. I will still see it though.

Well, to be fair they said from the start that Jigsaw would have less screen time than the previous films. So it's not a total surprise when you think about it.
