An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the "F" that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!

Its the sequel to Battle Of Gods so yes, its canon! I'm glad we're getting this since we were robbed of the rematch thanks to Trunks. 2015 can't get here fast enough!

How the **** is Freiza going to be a threat? Goku is about a billion times stronger than an average SS and Freiza can't even beat a newly turned SS let alone an average one.

Wondering that myself. How many wishes do they get with the Dragonballs? Two? I haven't watched anything post-Majinn Buu, which for me was... 12 years ago now. If they do wish him back to life, he could use the second wish for extreme power or immortality or something, and the heroes must find a way to defeat him from there.

That seems a bit unclear actually. Since in the series Shenron stayed around for the second wish once the balls were remade to grant the second wish, but in things like the BoG film, they only use one wish and then he flies away.

Battle of the Gods actually had some good writing and a surprising ending for once. I enjoyed it. Beerus was not your typical DBZ antagonist, he was a lot of fun.
