Dragonball's competition

I am making this thread so that we have a rough idea as to what movies will release a week before and a week after Dragonball that could potentially eat into its boxoffice or hurt opening weekend.

March 27th
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - A sony picture animation movie
Monsters vs. Aliens - A dreamworks big budget animation movie

April 10
Case 39 - Some horror & thriller movie from paramount
Old Dogs - Comedy movie from Walt Disney. Sounds like Wild Hogs prequel.

Well looking at the list , the only competition here is Monsters vs Aliens.
We haven't seen any footage yet but this movie was in competition with Avatar before both their release dates got shifted. MvA is a big movie for sony ( mostly due to it being a 3-D movie). And don't tell me that no name animated movies are no competition. In 2002 , Lilo and Stitch and Minority Report duked it out for a long time at the BO. And Minority Report had Spielberg and Tom Cruise as the drawing factors.

And in 2006 Happy Feet and Casino Royale duked it out at the BO.

But yeah still. MvA was going head to head with Cameron's avatar untill both their dates were pished back. Both movies are in full stereoscopic 3-D. That is a drawing factor

Just watch a big blockbuster open the same day as Dragonball, to screw Fox over even more forcing them to move it to 2010.

Look at Monsters vs. Aliens first look. I definitely wouldn't underestimate this movie. Also I am damn sure the first teaser trailer will be attached to Horton Hears a Who.
