as promised, heres pics of the in progress raptor. His body was done a few weeks ago, so it is already pretty much healed, the levaes and tail are new, so that why they are darker than the rest.

I have only one real critique. Your style is all over the place. This is common among art students and young talent. I would recommend locking in on a style that is uniquely yours...and develop it

dude, not to be a jerk, but if you go back and look at all the comic pinups Ive done, the style is the same throughout. Of course a Portrait or digital painting or Flash art that Ive done for a client is not gonna look like comic book art, cause its not meant to. The job that Im in I have to be able to draw anything, in any style that people want.

Nah, I love what Im doing right now, and I make more money at it then I would in comics. Besides, Drawing these pinups and turnarounds of characters is one thing, but doing sequentials and tellign a story through pictures is somethign Ive never been very good at.

Ya, my brother was thinking of getting a tatoo but he doesn't trust the guys that do it in our town with the needles and stuff. He wants to get the tatoo that Michael Myers has. I think it's called the Mark of Thorn or sumthin.

yeah, i sketched it and inked it then just threw in the silver and red in photoshop

Sometimes ill use reference to see how something should look. Like batmans suit there, or if im doing a portrait obviously. as far as the poses and all that stuff, thats just right out of my head.
