The thread might seem difficult to understand so...by dream project I mean what movie idea (sequel, book adaption, videogame,etc.) would you like to be made, with which director and which actors playing the title roles. I hope this is a cool thread so I will start it off....

The Dark Knight Returns with Zach Snyder or David Fincher directing and a cast of Jon Hamm (from Mad Men) as Bruce Wayne, Paul Bettany as the Joker, Robert DeNiro as Harvey Dent and not so sure on the rest. Definitely need Sups in there and to follow the plot line of the graphic novel. Stick with the disillusionment.

A Riddick movie by Louis Letterier with him escaping from an ultra max prison with a few foes along the way. Obviously with Vin coming back. A really gritty prison escape story with more of the Riddick from Pitch Black.

A live action The Once and Future King with Gary Oldman as Merlin and Kobe Mcphee Smith as young Arthur by Tim Burton.

1984 reimagined by David Fincher. Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the lead.

That's just a start. Have fun.

Maybe a description why and who you would pick would be better...:whatever:

You can disagree with mine but perhaps make a suggestion yourself. These are just ideas not greenlit movies.

i guess i just dont get how could snyder and fincher do the saeme movie. dark knight returns of course.
they both would make IMO a complete different type of movie.

ohhhh and fincher for a dark comicbook movie. it would be perfection. :bow:

Dude that's an ace idea! I'd be first in line for sure!

David Fincher's or Ridley Scott's Batman 3. With Christian Bale as Batman, Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face and Johnny Depp cameoing as the Joker, Racheal Weisz/Rhona Mitra as Catwoman.

A year after The Dark Knight Batman must face a serial killer calling himself the Riddler who leaves a game of Hangman with every victim who is somehow related to Harvey Dent's attempts to put an end to the Falcone crime family, a theif calling herself Catwoman and the year old disappearance of Harvey Dents body. As Batman begins to unravel each mystery he realises all three of them are related in one big mystery.

Antoine Fuqua's Predator 3. Starring Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch.

Three Predators descend to New York and from then on it's balls to the wall action.

An Original Project of mine about an everyday man how has to use his wits to take down a "bortherhood" of supervillains.

Look at it this way since 2000 in my opinion if this is how you compare the CB films:

X-Men Trilogy = Star Wars OT.
Spiderman = Indiana Jones
Batman = Godfather
Watchmen = Citizen Kane
Hancock = Bad Lieutenant
Superman Returns = Blade Runner

Then this movie is the Die Hard of CBM films.

I disagree with the bolded ones for reasons that probably don't have anything to do with how you compared them.

The Spider Man films vs the Indiana Jones films
in Spider Man, 1 was good, 2 was great, 3 was a giant let down.
in Indiana Jones, 1 was great, 2 was a let down, 3 was great

with Batman i hope i can disagree with you, because otherwise the next Batman will be pretty crap.

and i just love Blade Runner, and thought Superman Returns was pretty boring.

Spider-man is Indy in the sense that they came after Star Wars but they are equally as influential.

Batman is the Godfather because of how highly regarded they are in a genre full of classics.

Superman is Blade Runner because they where both unfairly maligned upon release but I expect it will get a little more love once it's aged a bit.

The Stand.

Still working on casting and director.

An action flick starring Willis, Stallone, and Schwarzenegger... directed by James Cameron.

I'd like a story where a nerdy kid gets bitten by a spider, and gets superpowers (I know it's ridiculous). Tobey Maguire would be good, and maybe Kirsten Dunst. Oh and the director should be Sam Raimi, I love the Evil Dead movies.

The Halo Movie

James Cameron as director/writer.

Michael Biehn cast as a ranking soldier like a Captain or something that we get to follow around with a squad of Marine during the movie with a bunch of action scenes with Master Chief.

I'd like to see Aaron Eckhart play Captain America. So what if he played Harvey Dent? It's not like there's a law that you can only play one comic book character. And besides, one is DC, one is Marvel. Look at Sam Elliott. He was in both "Hulk" and "Ghost Rider", and those were both Marvel movies.

Legend of Zelda with David Fincher directing and starring Chance Crawford and Alison Lohman.

Also a Y the last man movie directed by Darren Afronsky and starring Sam Huntington and Gina Torres

Written by Jonathan Nolan:woot:
Directed by Christopher Nolan:woot:
Music by David Julyan:woot: (this is beginning to sound familiar right :hehe:)
....and the rest of the Nolan teamwork .

with an all star cast:

Edward Georges Armstrong: Pierce Brosnan maybe

Emily Caroline Brent: Judi Dench or Imelda Staunton

William Henry Blore: David Koechner

Véra Elizabeth Claythorne: Eva Green or Emily Blunt

Philip Lombard:......everything is possible here, from Clive Owen to Daniel Craig through Hugh Jackman for instance

John Gordon MacArthur: Ian McKellen

Anthony James Marston: the American psycho's Christian Bale would have fit perfectly and even if Bale is older now I think he could still do it (the role being pretty short lived though)

Lawrence Wargrave: Ian mc Diarmid

Mrs Rogers/Mr Rogers: that's where I'm running out of ideas

I wanna see a movie with Rebecca Romijn, Charlize Theron, Kate Beckinsale, Elisha Cuthbert and others I can't think of right now, directed by Viv Thomas. Yeah.

That'd be full of win.
