DuckTales!!! Appreciation Thread

I wish Donald had been a major part of the Ducktales adventures like he was back in the old 1950s Carl Barks comics that Ducktales was based on. I suppose Launchpad served a purpose by flying the characters everywhere, but I would still have liked to have seen more Donald.

That being said, Ducktales was still pretty awesome all around. At least until the little cave-duck with the dinosaur, then it went downhill from there.

Didn't they make a Ducktales feature film ? Maybe it was a night time special but I seem to remember there being a theactrical release . It's been nearly 20 years so I could be wrong but I was just thinking that there may have been a movie.

It's cartoon! they can do anything

I loved how they played with that aspect in the cartoon. The Bugle Boys finally got into his vault and one of them tried to dive into the gold like Scrooge does, and he hit it like pavement.

I posted the theme song on the first page if you want to listen to it.

Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Chip & Dale, Tale Spin...:sigh: Disney Channel used to be the s***!

Nowadays...it is s***.

:(

Talespin and Darkwing are due in august, and Ducktales and Chip n Dale are rumoured for november

Chip & Dale is already out...as is Ducktales.

I loved (still love) Ducktales. I remember the movie 'Teasure of the Lost Lamp' back from 1990, and also the later series with Bubba and GizmoDuck...
