They made a couple of restarts along the way. But the main problem was a weak team management.
Anyway, once the game is out people won't care if it took 6 months or 10 years to make.

Anyway, it looks on par with UE3, with all sorts of nex-gen features.

its a shame bc Duke Nukem 3D was the best shooter of its time. Its too bad the developers couldnt get their sh-t together and actually release its sequel

I feel the same excitement I felt the first time that I watched the trailer for it, way back when "DN: Manhattan Project" was released. And I hope we're not gonna be disappointed all over again.

I suggest you watch the gameplay videos from 2001. Even if that was released today, it would be better than some of the mediocre FPSs to hit the market in the past years (Black, Area 51), and back in it's day, Gordon Freeman would have been crapping his pants.

If you read the Prey issue of CGM, you saw the article saying they're going full out on development now. They don't want to restart, they just want to finish the game and be done with it now. We'll probably see much more of the game by the end of the year.
