Screaming all over again.
Screaming all over again.
I’m trying to figure that one out too. In the book, the gladiator sequence takes place around the same time as everything else, so it’s not a flashback. Though maybe they changed it to something that happened previously and did it in black and white to make that even more clear.
But if it’s not a flashback, then perhaps somehow the Harkonnens have found a way to remove color in the arena. That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but… neither does having a spider-human hybrid sex slave, lol.
I like the casting of Austin Butler as Feyd and Florence Pugh as Irulan. Those are good choices. I also like seeing Paul performing his first worm ride.
At the same time, I need Denis Villeneuve to give me more than what I got in the first film. Interstellar travel was kept too vague. I want to see the Guildsmen, Guild Navigators, space travel, folding through space-time, and the Spacing Guild. I've wanted to see that on the big screen for decades.
Dollars to donuts, they are going to removethe baby
Also, if the movie doesn't open up with Sietch Tabr and the naming scene, I'm going to lose it. Like straight out lose it, and picket outside the theater.
I’ve heard thatDenis confirmed that the baby is in the movie but that it will be CGI. I hope he knows what’s he’s doing, because otherwise we may get another horrifying Twilight baby.
Which baby though? If you are referring to Alia...yeah that sounds like a terrible idea.
Yeah that’s who I meant.
LOL, OK now I understand. I was referring to Paul and Chani's first child. Not Alia, who isn't really what I would consider a baby by the end of the first book.
I'd actually be ok withI've honestly never felt it was that vital to the story honestly. The first Leto the II being left out.
Wouldn't really mind to be honest. Will probably be removed.

Man, does WB suck
Erm… Just out of curiosity, context & who are they referring to please?Quoting for the new page:
