Sci-Fi Dune

Paul Atriedes is supposed to be small and not physically intimidating though, he's pretty much described as such in the book. His fighting abilities comes from intense training and mental discipline, like a Shaolin monk.

you can be heavier and more muscular than he is right now and still be A LOT skinnier than Cavill,Evans,Hemsworth. If he was between 10 and 15 age no problem. he is over 20. he looks like he has an eating disorder.

“The Emperor was studying Feyd-Rautha, seeing the heavy shoulders, the thick muscles. He turned to look at Paul—a stringy whipcord of a youth, not as desiccated as the Arrakeen natives, but with ribs there to count, and sunken in the flanks so that the ripple and gather of muscles could be followed under the skin.”

Paul is 15.

And it's two years after the events of the first half of the book and the first (hopefully not last) movie.

Just saw the teaer. Im hyped!! Dennis never fails to impress and even just the tone of the teaser alone has me pumped. Now we just have to wait a few more days for the trailer.

He has an ectomorph build, nothing abnormal or really unusual about it.
Having never heard this, honestly my first thought was:- You mean he's built like a ghost?

(yes I've since looked it up, and yes I know how ridiculous it was to think that.)

Its sad how little people know about body types and ectomorphs. It wasn't covered at all in my biology, anatomy, or health courses in school. Most people see an ectomorph and immediately think the person is anorexic or bulimic or sick. And the media never addresses it. Its always about body positivity for large women. But they completely ignore the absolute **** ectomorphs deal with. I'm an ectomprph, and I caught and still catch so much **** from people thinking I'm sickly or starving myself. I really struggled with it in my teens, because all the guys I knew were growing muscles and putting on weight I was stuck struggling to maintain 100 pounds. And that screwed with my social life which made dating difficult. Long story short, being an ectomorph is a total pain in the ass.

Lol. Timothy being an ectomorph seemed to be no impediment to him dating women. I am sure most people are turned off by fat people than they are by ectomorphs.

So like pre-serum Steve Rogers? (who I actually think is kind of adorable and underappreciated)

offtopic. years ago i remember reading that ectomorph is myth. that skinny people are just skinny because they eat less and move less. i dont know. i know that bone structure is different. my father has a lot more thicker bones around wrist than me.

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry for poor little Timmy.

Leo DiCaprio was an ectomorph in his early 20s as well.

isn't that a bit odd?

Also if it took 7h on Stellan....how long does it take for Farrell in The Batman lol

I don't think it's odd. Baron has only two substantial scenes in the first half of the book. We see him raising from a bath of sorts, and it looks like it was written for the movie. I don't remember this scene in the novel, assuming it's what it is. We first see him discussing matters with Piter and Feyd. Feyd isn't in the movie (as far as we know), this scene was probably changed to what we see in the teaser. And the second time we see the Baron is before Jessica and Paul escape to the desert. That's basically it.

And I bet Farell spent similar amount of time in the make-up chair. It takes hours and hours every time. And these days with super hi-res cameras it requires meticulous work on detail so it doesn't look off when filmed in 4K or above.

Hmm yeah come to think of it you are right. I'm sure they will manage to make those moments we do see him impactful and creepy
