Sci-Fi Dune

From one of my favorite franchises. Well done Villeneuve.

Why can't that just be GTA/RDR but 'DUNE'? I don't need online play... I just want to wander around Arrakis, maybe ride a worm or two.

AND I do know/understand (sadly) that those to games also now live off of online $$.

But, I can always play a many hours worth of story while completely ignoring the online aspect.

As a single player only guy I have to agree. I never ever play online and it puts me off so many games.

Awesome!

Guess we'll have to wait until summer for the first trailer.

I remember being pretty anxious that this movie wouldn't have a high enough box office due to the pandemic and HBO Max Day-and-Date. Now we're getting (at least) one more movie, a season of tv, a survival MMO, and another TBA game from the Funcom deal. Good times. :D

Blade Runner 2049 finished filming in November 2016 and we got a first teaser in December, 10 months prior to the film's release. I doubt it will happen this time around, but I think we'll have something before summer.

TBN is going big these days. This year Dune, next year Captain America 4

Austin Butler On Lisa Marie Presley, ‘Dune: Part Two’, ‘Elvis’ Oscar Nom – Deadline

Among the next projects on Butler’s slate is Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which will have him play the villainous Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. While the actor stayed mum on the specifics of the experience, he noted that he was “a huge fan” of the original 2021 film and relished the opportunity to work alongside Villeneuve, who he found to be “an incredible filmmaker, and an amazing person,” to boot. “We had a blast getting to collaborate on this,” he said. “It was just so much fun for me, especially playing this role, to get to do something so different from anything I’ve ever done before.”

Its box office wasn't that high, but the pandemic and the day and date BS likely gave it a handicap.

I’d also say that he’s not using the Elvis voice irl, but far be it for me to stand in the way of an internet meme.
