Tuesday 11:30am 70mm in King of Prussia. Taking advantage of those Regal Value Day prices for the one movie a year I'll seemingly go to now.

Tickets for Part Two aren't up yet here, but got my IMAX tickets for Part One re-release. Good trial run to see if that's a nice venue as well.

Edit: seems the cinema I'm going to doesn't actually have 70mm. I never should've trusted Reddit. 😂

My local theater, for whatever reason, initially just had showings for March 1st. I had gotten a regular ticket, but then decided to go with Atmos so initiated a refund. Turns out, over night, they updated the listings for the 29th of February and now my showing wasn't even there anymore so I had to self initiate a second refund. I wish my local cinema would get their act together with this.

Anyway, now ill be seeing this feb 29th at 3:00 pm

Yeah, this is going to be huge.

God I hope so.
It doesn't need to be a billion dollar hit, just big enough to secure a Part 3/Messiah. The booming pre-sales are a promising sign for that. I totally didn't expect any sort of site crash for this so that's a pleasant surprise.

IMHO I feel like Warner Bros. isn't hyping the film at all. Not seeing any TV spots or marketing materials anywhere. Saw more marketing out there for the Beekeeper.

Warner Bros. must truly be in dire straights and losing money hand over fist.
Five days after this post and what do I see? A big ol' TV spot during the AFC Championship game.

They should be pushing the film harder and doing everything possible to get the word out. Moving it to March was self-sabotage.

It has far more chances to do better in March than it did in November. Not only because a humongous cast with big fanbases couldn't promote this at all, but because it now has far less competition than it would have two months ago. I'm sure marketing will be picking up more and more every week for the next month.
