About 6 months ago I got to school one day, turned my laptop on, and got a nice little error message that said parts of windows were missing from computer.
Well, after taking it to I.T. and letting them reinstall windows, I was left without a DVD player program. The rom still worked, I just didn't have the program to read them.
So I went online and bought the same exact program that was on my computer to begin with. But as soon as I start it up, it comes up with an error message that says "Create Overlay Failed. Lower Screen Resolution And Try Again."
Lowering the screen resolution does nothing so now I just wasted money for a program that still won't play my DVD's. Anyone know how to fix this?
