DVD Recommendations?

I'm home sick from work and bored as hell so I'm off to Fry's or Best Buy to pick up something so I can vedge on the couch.

Right now, I'm thinking Heroes season 1, never watched an episode but want to check it out.

Anyone got anything obscure or different they can recommend?

Any major Hollywood release that I would want to see I have. I'm thinking maybe something animated. Like I don't watch a lot of cartoons (I have Superman: Doomsday and Batman MOTP), can anyone recommend a good Justice League DVD or any other comic book cartoons?

Heroes was good...

You should also check out HBO's "Rome" (Season 1 and 2). Expensive but worth it.

I'm not sure if I want to buy Rome only because I didn't get into while it aired on HBO. Looks like Heroes is going to be the winner unless anyone else has something to contribute.

To mod that moved this, I know it should have gone in this forum, but I also was planning on leaving in about 30 minutes and wanted in the place with the most traffic so I could get answer before I leave.

Hey man. Try Escape from Alkatraz. It's older, but it's still amazing.
Also...Equilibrium, Stargate (movie or show) and Hellboy. =)

wait unitl your father gets home seaon 1 its a cartoon comdey. its made buy hanna barara. its really funny show.
Might try top cat if you like the jetsons or the flientstones you might like top cat.

Batman the Animated serise
batman beyond
Spider-man the Animated 1990's most of the dvds are three or four epsidoes. but their like 10 doallors. they got four or five dvds out.
Might check out static shock. its another superhero cartoon. I got it on dvd. its got six espidoes on it.
