Can someone recommend some good fiction or even non-fiction? I want something really good. I'm bored lately.

What are you into, what writers do you like, genres, etc? What's your favorite book? I'm sure many of us could give you recommendations but much of it won't be to your taste if you are so general.

I'm in to many things. The last book I read was "Life of Pi".

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan

and

A Song of Ice And Fire by G.R.R. Martin

both fantasy series, both brilliantly written.

double post fairy-monkey-gremlin-thing strikes again.

You could try the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony.

Book One is On A Pale Horse and if you enjoy that keep going because it's a very imaginative and excellently written series that has a lot of continuity between the other books.

If you want to try some Spy novels you can never go wrong with Robert Ludlum's Bourne trilogy. Yeah, they were made into movies, which have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the books, but they are really entertaining and fantastic spy thrillers. The Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum. Can't go wrong with those. There are a bunch of Bourne novels after this but they were not written by Robert Ludlum, as he passed away, but those books are horrid and not even worth the time. :o

The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy by Douglas Adams, GREAT GREAT stuff!

Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison is a good Urban Fantasy

The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde is a funny murder mystery

Ice Station by Matthew Reilly, an action thriller

The book I always recommend for everyone would be What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson. It's a love story, but not one that's overly sappy or sentimental, set in Heaven and Hell, though not particularly religious. Well written and very easy to read, too.

I recommend Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories.
Hard to imagine anybody NOT liking those...

Call of The Wild & White Fang - Jack London
I Am Legen - Robert Matheson
Interview With The Vampire - Anne Rice
Serpico -
Jaws - Peter Benchley
A Brief History Of Time - Stephen Hawking
