Can I just express my total satisfaction and approval over the fact that they're at least trying to revive the buddy cop genre between this and Ride Along? Seriously, instead of doing a sequel or reboot or remake of Lethal Weapon or Rush Hour or 48 Hours, they're actually putting effort into an original story.:up:

Okay seriously... HOW many movies does the Rock currently have coming out in the next few years?

Baywatch
Central Intelligence
Shazam
Big Trouble in Little China
Rampage
Fast and Furious 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Fast and Furious spin-off focusing solely on Hobbs

I'm sure there are probably a few others in there.

I'm sure he'll pop up in some other WB/DC film than just Shazam too.

He's securing his future. He knows he can't be in demand forever.

"a little Hart and a big Johnson"

:funny:

Good to know you don't like Kevin Hart in a thread specificially discussing a movie about him co-starring in it.

It was funny seeing both trailers for this and Ride Along 2 play back-to-back before a movie I saw a few months ago. Look like the same movie.

I will give Kevin Hart this. In every movie he's been partnered with someone in, they have always had chemistry. I have never seen a flick where his costar is like just sitting there bored.

I don't know how he is off the set but in these movies he always seems to be a likable guy who gets along with the other actors.

And that line about him losing 200 pounds? Look at him. He clearly did not lose 200 pounds. If anything he gained more back as a giant mass of walking muscles from working out 6 hours a day for 20 years. :funny:
