I doubt he dies. As long as there isn't a cliche third act reveal that the lizard is a female and has laid eggs everywhere, then I'm fine.

A giant Gorilla goes on a ... rampage ... ,kills a few dozen people, wrecks a few city blocks and causes chaos - that beast is going down, likely through whatever military presence there is in the film. I doubt very much there's going to be a sequel lined up after this, so yeah, all the monsters die.

Maybe the other two will die but George isn't going anywhere... there no way the movie will end on such a somber note.
