Damien Black / The Avatar - Ultimate Devil Titan Form
1707260114781.png

Ever since I first created this form & then was able to make a visual that perfectly captured how I wanted this state to be portrayed, I knew I wanted to tamper with it further. Just to see how far I could push the look to be more refined. Keep in mind this still isn't the Avatar's actual final form, but it's still the closest we've gotten thus far.

Jax Walker / Black Knight
1707447627643.png

Here's a character I've been workshopping for about the last 4-6 years or so. Partially because other characters demanded my attention first and also because I didn't really figure out what I wanted this character to be until 2021. I wanted to make something that was still street level, but a step beyond being the average vigilante. He's not a cosmic tier character or a planet buster, but he is definitely superhuman. I want to compare him to super-soldier characters, but even then I'd say that's inaccurate because he's a few steps beyond that as well.

Overall, the Black Knight is still a WIP, so it'll be fun figuring out the rest of the pieces to the puzzle going forward.

Thane Grim - Full Dragon God Form

1707531234867.png

With 2024 being the Year of the Dragon & everybody mentioning it so much this week I figured it was a good time to show more of a fully transformed Thane Grim in his Dragon God form. The thing about this form is it's where the Incredible Hulk and Dragon Ball Z Gohan (before the Great Saiyaman fiasco) influences kick in.

Thane absolutely has a temper, which is mostly on display when he's younger (i.e through his teen & young adult years) so he's prone to act a bit impulsively at times. Even once he essentially becomes a full fledged God, that aspect is still there, he just exercises more control. The Dragon God form is something he tries to refrain from indulging in because of the fear of having a lack of control and going completely ballistic. But once he figures out how to control it? Oh man, that's pretty much game right there.

As it stands, Ti'Kar is essentially the most powerful character I've created. And Thane, being his grandson, is the most like him out of everyone within the Grim family clan in regards to power level. This is why Ti'Kar and Thane both have Dragon-esque Titan forms that are very reminiscent of each other. For all intents and purposes, he is the chosen one. Kanan recognizes this, so he does his best to push Thane as far as possible. And then you have Wildcard, who also recognizes this, and it disappoints her, so Damien ends up being her favorite because out of the three siblings, he's the only one that shares her depravity. It just adds a whole new dynamic/layer to the sibling rivalry between Thane & Damien.

Amora - Kinetic Adarian Queen
1707608225960.png

I've posted Amora before, albeit nowhere near as much as others, so this seemed like a good time to re-introduce her.

Years ago when I first started posting art for my characters, I mentioned via X/Twitter that Thane Grim (and others in the Grim bloodline) belong to the "Amora" genus of the species. Amora here belongs to a race known as the Adarians, and she is an heiress to the throne of her people. Her race is one of respect, unity & prosperity, and given their immense respect for the Titans (particularly Ti'Kar) they named Amora after the bloodline as a sort of tribute. So her "codename" as a superhero is technically her birth name.

But, biologically speaking the Adarians aren't at all related to the Titans. The Adarians are fairly close to the human race, albeit with far greater capabilities whether it be intellectually or physically.

Natalia Wilson / Deathmass
1707626582894.png

I decided 8 years ago that I wanted to continue the tradition of parodies by making a parody of Deadpool since he's a parody of Deathstroke. Like the aforementioned two, Deathmass is a mercenary but she is more akin to Deadpool in that she deals with a lot of comedy & typically fills the anti-hero role.

Amantha 🕷️ 🕸️
1707683725420.png

Amantha is another one character I've had an immense amount of fun working on, especially her interactions with Weaver. I designed her to be sort of a mirror image to Weaver, but obviously evil. Her capabilities are of course similar as well, but she doesn't have access to kinetic energy like Weaver does.

This is one of those instances where I had a clear vision of how I wanted the character to look and I'm so glad to finally have it out there in the universe for everyone to see.

Kain Kaiser - Base Titan Form
1707873860361.png

For both of these characters, their designs have come out beyond perfect. Especially so in the case of Kain here. I originally only planned for Damien Black to have two daughters, but the idea of the Avatar having a son just became more & more appealing as I thought it over. And, admittedly, I watched Rob Zombie's Halloween & found a lot of inspiration there. Which is funny, because the genesis of the Avatar character also started with me being influenced by Zombie's Halloween entries. So it's almost a full circle kind of thing.

And so, here we have it: the only son of Thane Grim and the only son of Damien Black.

Felt now was a good time to show off more of Otis since I've already posted about Wildcard & since the characters are somewhat closely linked. It's probably obvious that Otis borrows some inspiration from Leatherface in terms of his overall build and the more macabre aesthetic he has. Like Leatherface, he starts off as being very impressionable, something Wildcard takes advantage of to turn him into a true monster.

Where Otis differs from Leatherface is that he's a lot more aware, and although he starts off as a more silent type, he does talk & proves to be intelligent enough to know what he does is wrong but to not care because he enjoys it. He's taken so much abuse from the world that he knows feels he's in a position of power to redistribute that same abuse.

The Eradicator at various stages:

I guess this is a tidbit I haven't highlighted enough but the Eradicator does have the DNA of both Darqueness & Ti'Kar, so that actually makes him related to the Grim clan.

The fourth and youngest child of Thane Grim & Madara, making her the youngest sibling to Caveira, Kong & Kalia. And just like that, we've officially unveiled all of Thane's children (finally lol).

Azula - Blue Flame Empress
1708050973590.png

I do love the black & red aesthetic I initially had for Azula, but I started to riff on the idea of blue fire being more powerful & this being a way to later showcase the evolution of the character. Plus, blue is usually associated with being a calming color & one for heroic characters, so I figured it'd be nice to shift that paradigm a bit.

Makayla Thomas / Karma

1708212679381.png

Here's a character that I made quite a long time ago, before I even got the idea to start working on Titan characters. Karma was made back when I was sort of fixating on the best ways to present new vigilante styled crime-fighters & I was focused primarily on street level characters with no powers. There's a lot of baggage with this character regarding her upbringing & how she develops her crime-fighting persona, so the hope is that she'll be seen as a complex character trying to make a major difference, even if she doesn't always handle situations in the cleanest manners possible.

A little of Weaver, "King" Kong Grim (anime style) & Ti'Kar:

Really hoping to get something going with the Tabitha Shivani character soon. It'd be really fun to be able to push out something involving a female slasher villain since the horror genre doesn't exactly have a lot of them currently.

Elliot Spencer / The Alchemist
1708724384372.png

Been sitting on this character for quite some time, but he's actually pretty important, especially where it concerns Thane Grim as the Alchemist is one of his biggest enemies.

This is a character where I've drawn on a multitude of influences & I kind of felt like I was firing on all cylinders when I made this. I created the character back when I was first catching up on the Immortal Hulk series. Without diving heavy into spoilers for those that may not have dived into it yet, I'll just say there was an instance involving the Hulk, a goofy scientist & a bit of dismemberment. It got me to thinking about doing something similar with Thane Grim, so that's where the Alchemist character originates.

He's also heavily inspired by different characters like William Stryker in that he hates Titans similarly to how the former hates mutants. Although he has solid reasons for it, it still drives him to do some pretty heinous things & it ultimately leads to him becoming the supervillain we see above. He's also closely associated with the spider character/villain Amantha that I posted previously as she is his second in command & they will be commonly seen together, so he's also a frequent nemesis to the Weaver character as well.

Wanted to show off more of Cassandra Porter / Blackout considering she has so many varying attires since, much like Batman or Iron Man, she's constantly upgrading her suit & its capabilities.
