didn't really care for MS's press conference. bringing out Yoko right before bringing out the remaining Beatles made that whole presentation feel comical and it dragged out. Halo: Reach definitely failed to impress me. Halo: ODST didn't show anything that grabbed me and neither did the new Splinter Cell. as far as Natal (which i think is a lame name for the project to be honest), it seems cool but i need to see more actual games for it. i don't think it will be as revolutionary as they tried to make it out to be though. really all they've done is take a bunch of already existing ideas and meshed them into one package. in the end, Natal is about motion sensors and Nintendo beat them to that punch. i also find it funny that they negated Tony Hawk's snowboard, i mean, skateboard peripheral by showing a kid playing a skating game WITHOUT a controller of any kind.
really the only things they showed that i was interested in were Alan Wake and Left 4 Dead 2. even as a MGS fan i'm not that excited about an MGS game based around Raiden (at least until i see some footage). Alan Wake looked interesting because of the slow-mo and camera angles, and Left 4 Dead is always fun but those were the only 2 things that really grabbed me. i hope the Sony press conference is more eventful/lively cuz the Nintendo one probably won't be, hehe.
