No showing of FFXV is indeed bad. This is a game that has been in development for nine years and last year got a significant burst of life with the announcement trailer that Versus XIII would be XV. I thought it might even come out next year.

What worries me is what does this mean for Kingdom Hearts 3? It must be way, way off.

This is the most hyped I've been for a E3 ever, I can't wait. I expect alot from MS & Nintendo, not sure about Sony they might just ride this E3 out since they're already doing so well & then come in swinging at next year's E3.

I was super hyped, but then a lot of the pre-E3 stuff has dampened it a little. Already too much incredible stuff before the show has even started.

This E3 will probably be the most important E3 for Sony and Microsoft. Lot on the line.

And arguably for Nintendo as well... but they seem to still be off in their own world.

Zelda U needs to look insane. They might even need Mario U.

It's a near guarantee that it will not be out before 2016. The trailer shown last year was basically just a confirmation that it is, in fact, being made.

I am really looking forward to E3 has I am really looking forward to Zelda wii u has zleda is my favorite franchise ever and I fell like ever one is great and I cant weight to hear more about batman arkham knight. I really wish sony would come out with a modnation racers 2 has I fell it is a better version of Mario kart has I liked the levels better and being able to download other peoples levels and I would like to have longer tracks night racing and under water races.

We'll get the first look at Zelda U, and Hyrule Warriors will be there also. I'd love to see a 3DS remake of Majora's Mask that's been fabled for so long, but I'm starting to lose hope on that one really.

The obvious Majora's Mask easter egg in A Link Between Worlds feels like a hint to me that it is imminent.

I'm honestly not sure what to make of Zelda... Warriors. The Dynasty Warrior games are rather... bad. I tried a PS3 game, and it was extremely underwhelming.

I really hope it's a cut above what I played (DW7).

The actual name is Hyrule Warriors. I'm not a big fan of the Warriors franchise, either. They can be fun for awhile, but they get repetitive quickly. I have a friend who is all about them, and offered to go half on the price, so I may end up getting it. It's main appeal to me is that you get to play as other characters beside Link in the Zelda mythos.

Even though the game has been in development for years, I really don't think they just took whatever they had thus far for the PS3 and ported it up to the PS4/X1. There has probably been some major retooling and that set them back in the development cycle. For example, hypothetically lets say they were like 60% done before, that decision may have pushed them back to being like 30% bc of all the revisions and changes they will have to do to restructure it with the next gen tech/hardware in mind. I really don't see the game coming out till at least 2016

Part of me wonders if some of these companies are pulling a David Jaffe tho.. "Oh we won't be there or show this game" surprise.. They show the game.

Maybe not..but I have to wonder.

yeah. 2016 seems likely.

maybe if we're lucky, Q4 of 2015, at the earliest.

I looked at IGN's schedule for their Live Streaming. They have like 5 spots that say "PlayStation Game", another 5 that say "Nintendo Game", and one that says "Secret Ubisoft Game". Does that mean the games they they announce at the MS Conference won't be shown to IGN and stuff? This means Sony and Nintendo plan on announcing 5 new games.
