Adam and morgan are talking to the director of prey the reboot

Yeah, I missed most of Beth's presentation because I went to a live feed site that NEVER PLAYED and had the countdown timer wrong! By the time I realized, and went to a better live feed site, I was just in time for the ES trailer!

It was f&^*(ng ES Online! I literally feared the rumors of Skyrim SE were faked or mistake for flippin' ESO instead, since I figured ESO was the big ES game of the conference...

I'm really not a fan of these behind the scenes trailers. I don't want to see concept art or early test footage. I just want the game.

lol, no. Battlefield games are known to have long legs.

Umm what? Haha

Exactly what I wrote. Battlefield comes out in late October. The big shooters of 2017 will start rolling out the following Spring. I dont 4-6 months out from Battlefield, there wont be players to get onto something new. Besides that, I dont think the WW1 setting will grab people as much as the more recent modern setting games. With Titfanfall 2 also releasing so close to Battlefield 1, many of EA fans who would have gotten it, will skip it

More recent modern setting? Seems most of the FPS's lately are set way way way in the future. Not sure where you're seeing the modern setting.

The last two mainline Battlefield games, 3 and 4 and even Hardline, were all modern settings. To the best of my knowledge the series hasnt gone into the far future

Ahh yes with Battlefield it's been modern. I thought you were talking about FPS games lately in general because yeah, most of them lately are not modern settings haha.

Battlefield 2142. Also the last DLC for Battlefield 4. They were futuristic.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is modern, isn't it?

I look forward to seeing more of that tomorrow

someone should make a ghost recon thread lol (over due) and maybe quake one. I'll do the VOD of the events after they end and put them up here but it's the interviews I'm interested in. wand they they tell the obscure stuff those will be in the game threads where they belong to.

I get confused every year with MS. At what time EST do they actually start? Is it 12:30 or 1pm? I saw 12:30 listed but is that for the pre-show with the actual conference starting at 1pm?

Well there's about 4 and a half hours left till the Microsoft presser starts.

conference starts at 12:30 pm est

Wish we were getting hardware news (from all 3).

With the exception of Microsoft, I think the trend is that everyone seems to be focusing on having their own events, so it's likely that they will save things like a PS4K and NX reveal for their own events later in the year.

I think Microsoft might be the only ones who reveal most of their plans at E3.

.
PSX happens too late in the year for this and besides, it's a fan event. They need to sell the new PS4 to the general consumer and a proper press show like Gamescom or PGW would be more appropriate

There are rumors that PS4K could be released as early as October, along with VR, so they may come out of nowhere like they did with the PS4 reveal and have their own event. Either that, or its way further out than we all think.

Why would they though? That sounds like a waste of money bc this isn't a brand new product line. It's not something you make an entire show around. Gamescom is Aug, TGS is Sept and PGW is Oct. It makes no sense for Sony to have their own additional press conference unrelated to these events just for a NEO reveal. If it gets w showing, it'll be at any of these but they don't need to. A blog post and video by Andrew House is really efficient enough to suffice
