How? They just showed parts of it and it's a bloody controller, it's not like a voice over said it was manly and full of action

Blood slowly painting the controller as screams and gun shots can be heard raining down in the background. The metal is slowly scraped up. The Gears of War logo is branded in blood...come on, it was a bit over the top.

Because he's a voiceless, personality-less character from a ten year old game? My point is there are much better choices in the series. I mean even that Darth Maul guy from the second game would have been better.
