You never know these days....several things getting talked about as reboots.

Elektra is no more dead than any other Marvel property that has stalled.

FOX wasted Elektra, just like they wasted Daredevil and X3. Once those properties revert back to Marvel, who know what might happen?

Time will tell, and while I didn't hate the Elektra movie, it could have been handled better.

Hulk and Iron Man have shown me that Marvel is now SERIOUS about their movies, and if they aren't hamstrung by bad licensing deals and have control over the process, then good things might just happen.

So hang in there, Elektra fans....you might have to wait 15 years, but you may yet get the movie you want. You never know. Chin up.

The first had alot of faults but had so much potential.

Elektra should get a reboot in a few years and have Frank Miller help/guide the script and production. The film should be rated R and have Elektra be Elektra(not Fox's version).

I also think a animated 'Elektra' film would be great... Hopefully one day we'll see Elektra return to the screen!

Don't worry. Unless Avi passed on his "no Elektra sequel ring" to Feige, a redo will be made in 30 years.

I doubt there will ever be an Elektra sequel.

If there is ever another Elektra movie, it will have nothing to do with the original Daredevil and Elektra films.

The director's cut of Daredevil, is a freakin' great movie in my opinion. Don't reboot it, or redo Elektra...I don't fancy gouging my eyes out again

IMO DD DC is a great classic comic movie. The DC is more true to the story of DD and did him justice in a huge way. If you watch the DC version it is like looking at a whole other movie all together.

Hmm, I'll have to see the director's cut then, I'm sure I still won't like Garner as Elektra, though.

Elektra, like a lot of comic movies would really benefit from a higher rating... I'd love to see a dark, violent Elektra movie... something thats more true to the deeper versions of the character.

I like the Elektra movie... purely because its an Elektra movie... and I don't hate Jennifer Garner in the role... plus it has Sai! But yeah... its rubbish. A new version would be awesome...

I didnt see Elektra when it came out, mainly because everyone here was bashing it so hard.

But i saw the deluxe DVD at Walmart last year for $12.00 and decided to pick it up. I've since watched the movie four times and seriously enjoy it.

I keep hearing "it sucks" or it's "rubbish" or whatever, but i think it's quite decent. Interesting plot, good acting, good fight scenes, cool villains, EXCELLENT score...

Im not sure what some of you were expecting, but outside of Miller's Daredevil issues featuring the chracter, the movie was just as good (and usually better) than any of her other comic appearances ive read.

The negativity leveled at this movie will forever be a mystery to me.

I think Elektra didn't work as a big-screen movie because the plot was limp - a sinister crime group tries to kidnap a preppy teenager who happens to be a martial arts prodigy despite looking like she couldn't even be a black belt in origami. The girl was bad casting, the plot involving the girl a bit silly. The story needed a little more 'scale' than that.

The movie isn't 'crap', it just isn't a big-screen movie. The villains were great.

Im not sure...ive only seen the special edition. There's TONS of cool features though.

BTW; interesting comment about the preppy teen-ager not looking like a martial arts prodigy. Did you know that kid is a Tae Kwon Do expert in real life?
