Emma Frost does love Cyclops and the X-Men. She's proved that countless times. Look no further than her spotlight in one of collected stories from Messiah Complex or one of the numerous events where she freaked out a dinner party they were having about how she doesn't feel accepted and they actually accepted her.

Any couple can happen in an alternate universe, no matter what's going onin the main universe. For example, Nocturne comes from a universe where Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch got married. As much as I'd love to see that happen in the 616 universe, it's never gonna happen.
