I can't see an Emma solo working. Her shtick is that she is used as the "*****" character to create friction amongst the X-Men.

I'd honestly rather have a Phoenix spin off like Simon said he wanted to do, or Rogue or even Storm. Emma is way over exposed.

Ah ok. So it's not an Emma spin off so much as it is an Emma with a bunch of x-kids spin off. But most of the popular X-Men are/were already at the mansion or in the movies...Cyke,Xavier, Jean, Wolverine, Storm, and then the younger Rogue, Bobby, Kitty, Colossus, etc.

They'd have to establish a whole new set of x-kids that are no where as popular as the "core" X-Men, and if it's going to be a seperate school to which it has already been done as well. Remember that Generation X movie that had all those mutie kids, Emma and Banshee? ::shudders::

Emma should not have her own movie, she doesn't warrant it. Especially since they never even introduced her in the X movies.

If they are just going to stick with spin off's they should deal with characters they've already introduced and who could carry a movie on their own.

Wolverine is the obvious choice.

Beast would be okay since he's in an ambassadorial role have him visit Genosha, could be an interesting story.

A Nightcrawler movie, since he gained popularity from the 2nd movie.

Maybe a New Mutants type of movie with some of the kids from the school using some of the kids that you've seen in Cameos like Siryn, Jubilee etc.

BTW when I first read a report about the Emma movie it said she was a telepath who could turn her skin to diamonds. When did this happen? or was it just misinformation.

What an utter waste of studio money.... And we all know what happened to the sequel to Elektra.

That money could be used to create another X-Men movie, that includes everyone. Or to at least bring in newer students. Maybe create an X-Men movie on the younger, more experienced students (Colossus, Iceman, Kitty & Rogue) training the New Mutants....

Anything is better than seeing Emma in her own movie on-screen... What's next, they cast Pamela Anderson, Jessica Simpson or Paris Hilton as the lead role? *roling my eyes, and nodding my head in shame*

She'd have to be tied into the young mutants film somehow surely. I just don't see how an Emma Frost movie could work. If that's the case get Whedon on it, Kitty and Emma Friction, Colossus actually kicking some ass.
