Bummed to hear about the news with Edge. My favorite 10 matches with him:

Vs. Christian - No Mercy 2001

Vs. Jericho - Smackdown 2002 (Steel Cage)

Vs. Guerrero - Smackdown 2002 (No DQ)

Vs. Lesnar & Heyman - Rebellion 2002

Vs. Michaels - Royal Rumble 2005

Vs. Batista - RAW 2005

Vs. Cena - Backlash 2009

Vs. Undertaker - Wrestlemania 24

Vs. Ziggler - Royal Rumble 2011

Vs. Del Rio - Wrestlemania 27 (This match has become more special now!)

THANK YOU EDGE!

Really sucks to hear about Edge. It seems like most of the big name talents are leaving or soon to retire.

I can't believe Edge is gone.......

I'm very curious on Kong's name in WWE,I doubt they'll use her TNA name or even indy name!!(Amazing Kong),I assume just Kong or something completely different.

I predict that Kong's name will be something very tribal (and racist) sounding...though it'd be hard to come up with something more racist than Kong.

How is Kong racist??,It fits her character/moves&look(big girl)perfectly!,Plus she came up with her Kong names anyway.

Ok so looking back Edge has had a career resume that may never be replicated.

WWE Champion (4 times)
World Heavyweight Champion (7 times)
World Tag Team Champion (12 times)
WWE Tag Team Champion (2 times)
Intercontinental Champion (5 times)
United States Champion (1 time)
King of the Ring (2001)
Royal Rumble (2010)
Money in the Bank (2005, 2007)
14th Triple Crown Champion

Only man to ever win King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, and a Money in the Bank ladder match. That and he's the only man to ever have a live sex act celebration upon winning his 1st World Championship.

There is a possibility that they will keep the belt off of Cena...maybe this is all the start of a Cena vs Truth feud...while Miz escapes with the title and goes on to face someone else.

Oh, and I know that Kong came up with the name herself...I was just making light of the fact that it's kind of comparing her to an overgrown gorilla.

I gotta say, if they just caught this recently it's pretty amazing luck Christian got to come back in time for one last E&C reunion before he had to leave. We should all just be thankful they diagnosed him before he got seriously hurt, and appreciate all the great moments he gave us fans.

If there's any silver lining to this, it's that there's a possibility Christian could step up and take his place on Smackdown. The story's built in, and it would get a huge pop if he won the belt against Del Rio for his fallen partner.

It's bittersweet. It was cool seeing the E&C reunion and Edge going out at the top of his game . Edge gave us a lot of great moments over the years , very entertaining.

I listed my top ten Edge matches (no order)

Edge vs Mick Foley @ wrestlemania 22
vs Undertaker @wrestlemania 24
vs John Cena @unforgiven, tlc 06
vs Kurt Angle @smackdown, steel cage 02
vs Shawn Michaels @raw, street fight 05
vs Eddie Guerrero @smackdown , street fight 02
vs Orton @vengeance 04
vs Jeff Hardy @extreme rules 09
vs Undertaker @summerslam , hell in a cell 08
vs Ric Flair @ raw, tlc 06

My thoughts on Raw:

-Sin Cara is the ****. I understand that he's debuting and all of that, but why is he wasting his time with Primo?

I guess John Cena is winning the title at Extreme Rules. No way are they gonna let Miz continue to go over the golden boy.

Sin Cara was awesome. He's been working house shows with Primo who is good for Cara to showcase his abilities. It's partly because they don't have actual jobbers anymore.

R-Truth being in the match might be a way for Miz to pin someone and they can carry on with the Cena feud.

Edge has had good matches in the past, but I have never found his character compelling in a delightful way, and I just hate his big eyed look. And to me, his matches were normally 'average' at best.

Let's face it...when Cena wins the title...he's keeping it until Mania. That means he isn't winning it anytime soon. He's going to have to get distracted with other things while Miz racks up a few wins and then drops it to Jericho or HHH (because I can't see Miz keeping the belt til Cena wins it late this year)

People might say it was because of politics or whatever, but I'm disappointed we never got an actual feud between Edge and HHH. That 3 week long "feud" they had when Hunter was drafted to SD and their lackluster match at Great American Bash doesn't count. It was just a placeholder until Taker came back for his HITC match against Edge. An extended program and a real, properly built title match with those two could have been something special.

It's always sort of shocking when someone goes out on the mic with genuine emotion. It blows that an injury has ended Edge's career. Truth be told, my favourite Edge days were when he tagged with Christian--back when tag teams were actually tag teams, when the tag division mattered, and when being the champs meant something. I paid less attention to him as a singles competitor, but nevertheless he was a great villain. It's a genuine loss for the company that he won't be able to perform. I really think they should give him a spot commentating, he's got exactly the sort of attitude to make it work.

With regards to Smackdown, I wonder if they'll ship Orton over there. I think Cena's presence on Raw is squashing Orton, so that might be better for him--though it would be weird to ship him off in the middle of a feud with Punk.

With Undertaker (presumably) off TV for a while, Edge gone, and seemingly no immediate plans for HHH, Smackdown is really hurting for a face now. It would be killer to see Jericho called in for a face run; it's been a long time since he had a good one.

Edge :(

I really do wish WWE would kill all fake injury storylines though, since it kind of spoils the ones that are real. I bet half the audience think it's all a storyline and he'll be back in time for Summer Slam :(

i haven't watched Raw yet but i was almost in tears reading the results. R-Truth in a main event?:(

lol no just kidding, i was almost in tears reading about Edge.

just watched tough enough, damn did not expect to see that.
why does wwe hate the indies so much? lol
